Some New Project is about experimenting with soundscape and groove - to put the conventional song structure to one side and find the meat in the moment - yeah there shud be a chorus, yeah the songs should have hooks and be memorable, but the groove is what drives it, not a reliance on verses, and middle 8s and chorus etc....
