Negative Brody - alt rock band based in Birmingham, rehearse at Robannas, have with great regret recently had to part company with founding member/bassist and are on the hunt for a replacement.

We're influenced by a whole heap of bands, such as QOTSA, Muse, NIN, Depeche Mode, Led Zeppelin, Dinosaur jr. We do mainly original material but with the odd cover. For example, we've recently been working on a cover of Right where you belong by NIN, and it sounds incredible and really suits our sound.

The setup is me, Joel, on Drums and backing vocals, Chris on guitars and Tom on guitars and lead vocals. We're after a bassist mainly but if you can chip in with backing vocals then that's a bonus.

We're all early 30s. We rehearse for 3-4 hours each week. We've not gigged for a little while due to line up changes and we were building up to getting some gigs around christmas/new year but have had to put that on hold obviously while we hunt for a new bassist.

We love what we do but we have wives, partners, children (well, just the one child) and careers that obviously sometimes have to take priority so we have no pretensions of taking over the world but we do want to write some great tunes, play regular gigs, do some recording and generally enjoy ourselves through the medium of rock.

If this sounds like your cup of tea please get in touch.

Cheers

Joel (Team Brody)
