Dear All,
I have been talking about switching this forum to vBulletin for many months now, I am finally going to do the switch over on Sunday 11th of October. Thinks may be a bit funny durring and after the switch over, I expect we will get it back to normal withing a week or so.

Thanks
Temi

Hi Temi,

Looks good so far.
It's exactly the same as another one I moderate for.
You are probaby still working on this:-

You have us Admin just as members at the moment,
and although there some mod tools, there are no admin tools
for forming sub forums etc.

Can you also set the Display Options to show all threads
from the beggining.
Othewise it is up to the member to click on it,
and that is never going to happen.

All the headers are all now lacking, bold, colours etc,
and there is nothing in the Advanced edit to change anything!
When clicking on Advanced edit,
it should show 2 top toolbars,
enabling selection of colous ,ont, sixe, bold etc.
There should also be another toolbarbelow,
whereby urls, and image, YuuTube etc can be uploaded.

At the moment all the YouTube posts, have gone!

There will more adjustments I am sure

I have done this bit, and changed the settings,
to suit each forum

Temi,

The number of images per post is limited to 6,
can we up this number,
as very little editing can be done to posts,
to enrich fonts etc?

Keith,
Over time we should have all the setting working as you like it if the feature are availalbe in vBulletin.
I will start adjusting the settings today, hopefully by the weekend mos of the setting should be done.

Thanks

Thanks Temi,
I have found away into the Mod's Control room,
but it's a long way round.
I wish you all the best in the adjustments!

Also Temi,

Since you formed the new forum,
we have had lots of spams, which I have deleted and blocked users.
I have adjusted the registration settings,
so they have to click on an email link, to verify.
Hope this keeps them away!

I am activating new spam filter to get rid of the spammers

OK Temi,
That's great, you might want to cancel that email link
or leave it, if you think so.

Can you have a look at upping the 9 images allowed per post,
then I can get on with updating all the threads where the fonts are all wrong

Up to 25 images can now be attacahed to a post.
Thanks

Hi Temi,

Still telling me, I have the maximum number of images,
will not let me edit.
Also maximum text needs to be increased from
10,000 characters, some of the biogs are longer than that!

OK Temi,

It's working fine now, thanks.
I'll let you know if a problem crops up,
when I continue editing.

Is it possible,
to change us Admin guys colours on the site,
and we need our titles chaging in the control box,
so that we show up as Administrators when posting.

I am going to email you a screen shot from my other forum,
showing you the edit tool bars that can be used,
including a 'YouTube' attachment

We have, as you can tell, changed over to a much
superior Forum set up.
However, although I am continuing to re-edit lots, and lots of threads,
you may notice the odd weird things like –
which basically is a - or ' not transposed correctly by the new board.
If you spot any, let me know, and I'll edit the thread or post

Thanks
