Hi everyone,

Steve here from “Powerage Production Services Agency”. We are a specialist artist management team, concert and festival promoter based in the South of England. Our specialist area is progressive metal, and thus we are looking to extend our artist roster and are beginning taking on new bands in an artist management capacity within the progressive metal genre.

We are looking for artists of the highest possible musical calibre, and are open to dealing with concept bands, general prog-metal acts and even Christian metal.

We are a serious and professional company and are committed to dealing with a few, highly ethical, extremely committed and musically astounding acts on the basis of long-term contracts. This will be bloody hard work, and we are purely and simply after the best out there in the UK.

We have fifteen years experience in this industry, working as a booking agent, artist manager, singer/songwriter, concert promoter, festival promoter and marketing consultant to music artists.

Are you the best? Are you career-oriented? Are you willing to make music your life for the next few years in order to give yourself the best chance of succeeding? If you think you’ve got what it takes, email me through the following information at powerageagency@googlemail.com and I’ll have a look in-depth at your band.

1.) Band – official biography
2.) Band members – individual biographies (please also detail your experience of the industry)
3.) Artwork (e.g. logo, graphics used on releases, etc;)
4.) Photographs
5.) List of notable achievements, recent gigs played & your pull (crowd size) at each one. Be honest!
6.) A link to your myspace site or other site where audio can be heard.
7.) Contact information
8.) Any other information/graphics/etc; you feel would strengthen your band’s case for being accepted by management.

There is an extensive and comprehensive contract involved and a commitment will range from 3 to 5 years depending on how badly we want you. You can run it past unions but that will not change the content, as we are sick of drop-out bands and time-wasters.

If you’re not sure of whether you fit, I have provided a list of bands whose music is along the lines of what we’re looking for.... Avian, Pyramaze, Stairway, Within Temptation, Evanescence, Nightwish, Cloudscape, Rivera/Bomma, Queensryche, Reign of Sirius, Power Quest, Imperia, Liquid Sky, Hanging Doll, etc;.

NO TIME WASTERS PLEASE!

hello,

we are a band called DepthCharge. Myself (Ali-23) the bassist, Arran (21) the Guitarist and Alex (18 ) the Drummer.

We are a progressive metal band who write instrumental material. this basically came about after spending ages looking for a vocalist....not finding one and finding that we wrote lots of material which we found held its own.

our influences mainly come from dream theater, opeth, mudvayne, rush and some other bands. we like the progressive music very much. On facebook.....some of our material is there to listen to aswell as some of the videos! aswell as this we are on youtube....just search for DepthChargeBand to find our channel. Any Videos that arent on facebook will be on youtube. some serious....some funny. gives you a good insight to the band either way.

We have a lot of serious plans for the bands future...and we are very driven as a band and are currently begining to record the new material aswell as re record the old so that we can get our demo sent to everyone we can this year.

As the kinda of musicians we are, we like to experiment a lot with different styles, progressions and leave ourself without any limits as to what we can write or play (as best we can anyway lol) if you listen to our material you will see how diverse our style can be.

We are looking for gigs, but havent really got much of clue where to look, or what kinda venue would accept out style of music.....it being instrumental and all.

Apologies for the essay...didnt wanna miss anything out lol and i know you deal with down south rather than scotland....but i was wondering that if you are not in the position to assist in the journey we are wanting to embark on, do you know of anyone up here that would?

SO YEAH!!! WE ARE DEPTHCHARGE!!!!

if you are interested you get in contact, either on this post....or you can email the band on the email in the profile and you can add the band onto msn. Also dont forget the band facebook (DepthCharge) and the bands youtube channel (DepthChargeBand) to give yourself an idea as to what we have done so far!
