Hey, I'm moving to Birmingham very soon and would like to get together with likeminded individuals to start and experimental music project.
My influences vary wildly and I'll gladly listen to artists such as;
Iron and Wine, Godspeed You! Black Emperor, Mogwai, Brand New, Aereogramme, Sufjan Stevens, REM, Norah Jones and Sunny Day Real Estate.
I am looking for people who are open minded, play a variety of instruments (guitar, bass, drums, cello, violin, piano, banjo....) and would be keen to improvise on a theme to create soundscapes with a view to eventually include poetry and singing.
It would be a fairly casual project, as I mainly only have weekends free, but if you, or you know someone who would be interested, let me know!
