Hi Everyone

My friend and I have just joined forces as an acoustic duo 2 months ago, after playing music for some years. We are called The Part Timers and played our second gig since forming at The Plough in Harborne (http://www.theploughharborne.co.uk/index.php?option=com_content&task=blogcategory&id=3&Itemid=16), where we now have a regular spot! We have started up a blog at www.theparttimers.co.uk and are on facebook, myspace and twitter too. We are looking to get down to a studio pretty soon to record a few tracks we have written...so that we actually have some music on our site! We are thinking of using Rich Bitch Studios in Selly Oak, but would love to hear to your recommendations on other studios too.

Look forward to hearing from you

Gary

Hey!

Welcome to the forum! I'm Dave and I run a record label.

If you're looking fora good studio then I'd recomend that you take a look at the Base Studios in Stourbridge - amazing facilities and its all still really new. I know a lot of the bands we work with on unsigned gigs, as well as a couple on the label do practice at the Base and have said the recording studio looks great.

Here's the website: http://www.basestudios1.co.uk/

I wish you the very best of luck with your music :)
