Scarlet Harlots is a musical outfit which brings together an angular passion for strong bass, big beats and punk guitar fronted by the charismatic figure and lyricism of Sam Baylis. This fusion has been described as PUNK-STEP.

This hottly-tipped group from Birmingham have been together as this line-up for 2 years and have supported the likes of Jamie-T, Young Knives, Hollowing Bells, The Twang, Reverend and the Makers and many other successful bands.

The Harlot theme represents the unnerved motive to prostitute their so-called talent and noise to whoever wants it and gets it. Scarlet Harlots see themselves as more of a sample outfit in which they take whatever they think works and 'dirty it up!' The cat imagery in their artwork symbolises the bands musical thief instinct which spheres an inner motif of an aggressive want for acceptance and an impatience realized by the quick beats and basslines.

In 3 words Scarlet Harlots are - Progressive, Edgy, but Accessible.
