Our Man In Caracas

After many promising years could Brum finally have the momentum to take on the musical world!? I'm a now Leicester based electronic musician which makes me feel like a bit of an outsider here, though I started originally in Brum, having lived and worked there for ten years; Moseley, Edgbaston, Harborne, Selly Oak.
I think the high point for me was the club scene around mid-to-late 90s when the city was pretty much unrivalled throughout the uk. I used to run a web-based club guide way back. Then I really got into acts like Broadcast, Woodbine, Plone, Pram and Magnetophone.
I did have a forum similar to this to promote the midland's music scene but it kind of died a slow (read quick) death. You can read it here: www.ourmanincaracas.com/forum
Don't have much time to post myself though I hope this one last longer ;)
Anybody want to check out some of my dub/downtempo/misc electronic stuff you can hear it here:

It's just a hobby until the record deal comes along ;)
Cheers,
Caracas
